Local artists and children have fun together
Photos by Karina Williams/Loomis News

The Placer Elementary Fine Arts Fair is an innovative program that brings local artists and children together for a week of fun and learning.

Chef Christoph Ehrhart, and his meatball magic, was one of three dozen local artists who participated in the week-long fair held at the Loomis school at semester's end.

In the end 500 students in kindergarten through eighth grade experienced a variety of creative media, including music, pottery, metal sculpture, drama, dance and painting, as well as culinary arts.
