Karina Williams/Loomis News
Diane Sunken makes a key.

Q: What kind of services do you provide?

Diane Sunken: We are a one-stop shop for business needs and shipping. We have mailboxes and accept packages for our box holders; we provide mailing and shipping services via FedEx, UPS and USPS. We can send and receive faxes for people. We provide graphic design with unlimited changes and printing services. We also have a computer technician on staff. He offers computer and networking support services.

Q: What are your more unexpected services?

Sunken: Duplicating keys. We have notary services and take passport photos. We make rubber stamps while you wait.

Q: How many employees do you have?

Sunken: David (McCauley) is my business partner. My husband, Brett, helps out. I am always here so customers get a lot of consistency. We are a family-owned and operated business and we live in Loomis. We also try and buy locally.

Q: What do you like best about the business?

Sunken: We have lots of repeat customers. We’re on a first-name basis with many of them. I like getting to talk to people and making friends. I enjoy the personal service side of it.

Q: What do you bring to the business?

Sunken: David says it’s ‘my dedication and strong work ethic.’

Q: Why did you open Mail Biz Etc.

Sunken: We became friends with David through his other business, Healing Secrets. My husband and I saw there was a need in the community for these services, especially for those operating a small business or working out of their homes.

Q: What are your most popular services?

Sunken: We do the most business in shipping and graphic design. We do keys like crazy.

Q: What are your plans for the future?

Sunken: To find more services that the community needs. I want to be able to fine-tune the business.
