Photos by Joyia Emard/Loomis News

Penryn Elementary School students recently collected and packaged items to be sent out in care packages to oversees military.

The fifth- and second-grade students wrote notes to oversees military thanking them for their service, and packaged them up with new socks and wash cloths that would be packaged with other items received by Operation Mom.

The nonprofit organization provides support to members of the military stationed oversees and their families.
