Home tour features historic, Victorian mansion
Five homes showcased during Loomis schools benefit
A historic, Queen Anne-style, Victorian mansion will bring the grandeur of a bygone era to life during the Loomis Basin Holiday Home Tour, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 11. The three-story, 7,100-square-foot home has been lovingly restored to its original splendor by Dan and Glenna Haley. The home will be decked out in holiday decorations for the tour that benefits the Loomis Basin Education Foundation and the students of the Loomis Union School District. Four other homes are also on the tour including a modern-day castle, a farm estate where miniature horses are raised, a Santa Barbara-inspired villa and a country home. Tickets are $25 in advance, and $30 on tour day, and can be purchased in Loomis at High Hand Nursery, Blue Goose Produce and the Flower Farm; in Rocklin at Pottery World; in Roseville at California Backyard; and in Auburn at Eisley Nursery. Order tickets online at www.lbef.net.
